Brick Coupons

Coupons can be a frugal friend, no surprise there - right? You can find various coupons that update at least monthly through your basic sights like coupons.com, boodle.com, couponcabin.com, etc... You can even find coupons to stores like Target through A Full Cup or various tips for savings at just about anywhere through places like Mommy Saves Big. But, one of my favorite places I keep on top of is through my 'brick coupon' link: Brick Coupons! You can find higher value coupons through manufacturer sites, all condensed in one little place (for the most part).

With 'brick coupons' you can only print two coupons. When you print it out once you will want to wait until it is all done printing and do *not* close any screens. Instead you will want to hit your browsers back button about three times for the printing process to restart, this is your second coupon. But, keep checking back as coupons do get reset pretty often.

Free Seasoning Packets

McCormick Seasoning has been running coupons in the local papers the past few weeks as well as some on Coupons.com. I clipped them and tucked them away. Just today I was looking around online and read where folks are taking these coupons and using for individual seasoning packets.... it was a duh moment for me! I had not even thought to use my coupon for an individual seasoning packet, and what a great opportunity to try something new!
So, head on over and print out a couple coupons today! Often times you will find these on sale for $1.00 or under and I believe Walmart normally runs them under a dollar - so, they would be free!

Happy Seasoning!

$1.00 All coupon at Target...

This coupon can be combined with the one posted a day or two ago. So, if you printed that $2.00 coupon you should print this one for sure - a great example of stacking coupons. From what I hear you will only pay .99cents for All small & mighty at Target after using these two coupons (that is with no sale, normal price!). I printed them each twice... so, I'll be grabbing two at .99cents! Great deal!

On this link you'll also see a .75cent coupon on Huggie's wipes, including small packs - not free, but cheaper. As well, you'll find coupons for Skippy peanut butter, Rice A Roni and more!

Walgreens

Walgreen's is not necessarily my favorite place to shop, but man I really had no idea you could save so much money on stuff there. Each month they publish an 'Easy Savers' booklet filled with coupons, rebates and kickbacks/rollovers. These are coupons that can be stacked with manufacturers coupons - so, double the savings!

Last month I picked up some super, super cheap Easter candies for next week using their coupons and my manufacturer coupons. I think I spent literally pennies on the dollar for good candies. And, I found free razors using my coupons and theirs stacked together. Just a few items that were amazing deals!

HERE IS THIS MONTHS Walgreen's Easy Savers catalog you can browse through. You do not have to print this out to get the coupons, you can just swing by the store and grab one or two of them. You should check it out, you might be surprised at what you can save!

Just a little tip

So, we are working on a big project for my daughter for her birthday - a playhouse with an exploration garden around it. This is a costly project to say the least. I have been using local resources the best I know how, seeking deals from Craigslist and utilizing a local reharvest center for some materials. However, there are still out of pocket costs to a big name retailer for suppplies.

With the expense of our project I have been scouring for coupons of any amount to help offset the cost and I am not a fan of 'buying' coupons personally, free is better. Well, I lucked out and found something - not big money coupons, but a pretty unlimited resource. My local post office... yes, my local post office!

When you 'move' you pick up a movers packet at the post office to change your address. In that movers packet you will find various coupons for your move or home needs. In my packet I discovered 10% off Lowes stores, off of one purchase of up to $500.00 off. Might not seem like too much - but if you are making a larger purchase for hundreds of dollars or more... this can add up. And, considering Lowes is not overly generous with coupons - I'll take anything I can get.

So, if you happen to have a home project or a landscaping need coming up this Spring - pay a visit to your local post office and pick up a coupon or two. Happy planning!

Eating Organic

Often times I have people ask me about couponing, which I love! I have really grown in my confidence in using coupons and not paying full price for certain products now. Our income is hard earned and I have a hard time parting with it unless we need to - so, saving hard earned money is worth it! Plus, there are better things in life I'd like to spend our money on.

However, some folks have this perception that coupons are just for junk food or better yet... 'stuff we don't use'. That one kind of makes me smirk simply because I take it as an excuse to not take the time to coupon.

Coupons exist for just about anything and I mean anything. Personal goods we all use- toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, feminine products, diapers, lotions, soap, toothpaste, dish soap, etc.... You can find coupons for your favorite shopping mall stores - Old Navy, Gymboree, JC Penny, Macy's, The Gap, Carters, etc... Toys galore - individual brands, Toys R Us, Target, etc... And of course - foods.

You can find coupons for just about any kind of food you desire - including organic food. If you are eating organic foods then your grocery bill is probably higher than the average household. A higher grocery bill to me justifies seeking out coupons to offset the cost of quality food - meaning I would work harder to find more coupons than normal.

Organic companies DO offer coupons, and usually pretty decent ones. You might have to search a bit harder but you can find them. Here are some basics to get you started in your organic search - these are ones I use all the time.

Organic Valley - They typically have $1.00 off coupons for milk, soy milk, cheese of all kinds, butter, sour cream and cottage cheese. This is a reset coupon, meaning available all the time. It prints for just a couple week expiration date so you can rotate this into your shopping experience frequently.

Earthbound Farm - They will send our email newsletters along with possible online coupons. As well, they send a hard copy newsletter with wonderful information every couple months. My newsletters have always had nice valued coupons for fresh produce. In fact, my fridge is currently stocked with organic produce all purchased using their coupons.

Muir Glen - This company is often a very easy coupon to find online. I simply google Muir Glen and often find several I can print. Their coupons are almost always for $1.00 off of one product. I stock up on organic fire roasted diced tomatoes a lot. I use them in cooking a couple times a week, easily. When you take this coupon to Walmart you can get organic canned tomatoes for .24 cents a can. They also carry organic pasta sauce which is very nice.

Cascadian Farms - This company is a diverse organic company. You can buy anything from cereal to granola bars, frozen fruits to frozen vegetables, frozen juice to fruit spreads. And, they have good product. Again finding a coupon for them is usually not tough. If you can't find one through their immediate site, google them. I always have coupons from Cascadian Farms in my coupon box - always! They are usually $1.00 off coupons on any one product and Fred Meyers has them on sale a lot.

Wild Harvest - This is Albertson's organic line of just about anything you can imagine! Their website always has a coupon you can print for $1.00 off - any product. I typically use this when their canned beans are on sale for $1.00 and get free beans.

O Organic - Safeway has their own line of organic products as well. If you use their printed coupon site you will often find fresh meats like chicken on coupon (and on sale) and produce, etc... Check these coupons weekly as they change often.

Safeway Coupons

Did you know that most grocery stores have their own websites? And, did you know that most will link you to more coupons? I regularly check them out and find good deals. Recently though I started using Safeway's website for coupons. I am not sure if this is a regular thing or not, but I have found coupons for product they are having on sale that week and for Safeway branded product!!! That is the best part I think.

It is difficult to find coupons for our store brand names, rare indeed. But, Safeway might just be changing this up a bit and on to something great! Two weeks ago I printed out coupons for $1.00 off their carrots... to use them on their current sale of $1.00 carrots = free carrots! And, I printed off pasta coupons to use with last weeks pasta sale = .25 cent spaghetti. Great stuff!

So, if this is not yet part of your normal coupon routine.. I'd try to fit it in. As I have been happy with it and plan to check back weekly now.

All You Magazine

All You magazine is a featured magazine at Walmart. It is a great little magazine that often offers neat recipe ideas, home decor, fashion and advice - a typical gal magazine. What is different about this magazine though... coupons - and lot's of them! I purchase one a month and if it includes really great coupons then I'll purchase more of them! They can go very quickly though so you need to start scoping All You out at the end of each month for the upcoming issue. All You also has a great webpage and blog to keep current on, often times you will find additional coupons, freebies and give aways through these two resources alone. Above you can find the March 2009 coupon savings you can expect! Enjoy!

Target Coupons

Did you know Target offers coupons? Yes, they do! You can find them occasionally in the local Sunday paper and in various magazines. They also offer them online as well. You can check their website weekly or CLICK HERE to have the current coupons grouped into one place and printed. And, remember as well as using their coupons watch for manufactures coupons that can be coupled with the Target coupon AND watch their sales ad - I have almost always found at least one circular that had an in store sale if paired with their coupon alone made for cheap shopping.

Some coupons you'll find right now include $1.00 off Seattle's Best Coffee, $1.00 of Puffs tissue, $1.00 off Pepsi product and more. Happy shopping!
